OK so I want to learn boxing but I don’t have any money and I’m trying to find a boxing website that teaches for free. The website has to at least have videos that give examples of boxing and it should have boxing exercises and a muscle building plan. Please answer this quickly I will give 10 POINTS FOR THE FASTEST BEST ANSWER.

Youtube easily. I found a lot of videos on there about exercise and proper boxing techniques and lessons. But to get the full experience you really should go to a gym. Maybe for a Christmas gift since you don’t have a lot of cash? Or all your relatives could pitch in like ten bucks each. But anyway yeah I’ve seen a hundred on youtube. Type in boxing lessons and you get a plethora of stuff.

New lifestyle : I need some help with my diet.?

I’m starting a new lifestyle, I’d like to be healthier than I currently am as far as weight goes. What I need help with is my diet mostly, I don’t really enjoy meat but I’m not a vegetarian because I do eat chicken and sometimes beef, just very limited. Also, I don’t cook because I start fires :/ I can bake, I just shouldn’t cook.

That being said, I know where to get my protein. I eat atkins bars which have 19g of protein in them, and only 1g of sugar. I just started eating breakfast (The only thing I can cook) Oatmeal, and not the instant crap in the little bags, the real oats without sugar. I usually add fresh fruit and some honey, with milk. That keeps me full for a few hours. Someone told me eating fruit won’t help me lose weight? I need some help with lunches (That I can bring to school) and dinner. I don’t have time during the day to eat, I’m in dental school to be a dentist and I’m at the point where I’m in clinic almost all day, and we get an hour break only once. What kinds of things do you suggest bringing that are filling, but are healthy. Also, some suggestions for dinner? I need to keep my energy up during the day because I’m using so much energy in the clinic (I actually move around I don’t just sit) Especially since I’m building more muscle to be able to keep good ergonomics and remain strong through out my career with minimal back injury.

My second question is, What is a good routine at the gym? My favorite is the cycles, but I want to see results quickly so I would like to know the most beneficial workouts that don’t require all day at the gym. My time is limited and I can’t run outside anymore due to so much snow. I have access to all kinds of equipment. I also do in home toning yoga/Pilate’s. It’s a 42 minute video.

Suggestion please

My weight is 165lbs, and I’m 5″2 (My weight is evenly distributed, so I look average)
To answer your question, Tartar or calculus cannot be removed by brushing or flossing, it must be removed through ultrasonic cleaning (Using high sound waves to make a vibration to remove plaque and tartar, also an air abrasion or a manual scaler can be used regardless you must see a dentist/hygienist to remove this, every six months! no slacking! Always brush and floss!

Vince DeAngelo answers:

Sounds like you have the makings of a good routine there. Since you’re a dentist you will have basic understanding of biology and nutrition. High protein is good for muscle development. This compliments your exercise routine. Building core strength is important so pilates based exercises 2-3 time a week is good. If you want to burn off fat you could also incorporate more cardio type exercises, running, cycling 2-3 times a week. Use a treadmill if needed. Of if you really wanna be strong, do some kick boxing!

Make sure you have some days off during the week to relax and rebuild and rejuvenate your body. Eat low fat foods, lots of fruit and veg and also eat whole grain breads. I nice hearty sandwich for lunch is always good. Or some pasta and fruit. You have to maintain a reasonable load of carbs to keep you going and to give your body energy to rejuvenate. Eat a small amount of red meat a few times per week for good iron levels.

Edit my question for you! – Is there any way to reverse the process of tartar build up? Or will I need to go to the dentist for a scrape?

please read my student election speech?

its really quick, im running for junior vice prez at my school. any suggestions/improvements/errors? any corrections? constructive critisim needed.

HERE IT IS:

Good morning/afternoon my fellow North Torontonians. First, I’d like to thank you all coming to this election assembly, and actually staying awake, while we’re all reading our speeches. In case you haven’t already met me, my name is Phyllis and I am the best qualified candidate for JVP. But before I get into the issues about my position, and my credentials and the stuff you’d find boring, I’d just like to quickly reflect on one of my first anecdotes at this school. I remember my buddy talking about the amazing French fries at the café and how smart the students here were. (And I can’t lie, he was right) But one thing that’ll never escape my memory was watching that Student Council video. As intimidating as Bjorn, Emily, Geoff, James, or Savanah, and the others made it, I was still definitely attracted to the position of JVP and being a member of the student council. But no, it’s not because I like hiding in closets! (Don’t worry Savanah, mine’s on the 3rd floor) It’s because JVP’s get to really help out a lot during Charity Week, raise money, assist the Senior Vice President, and become an important member of the student Council. In fact, one of my New Year’s Resolutions last year was to create a club or committee to help fundraise for charities. But, I soon realized that that wouldn’t be necessary since we already have Charity Week.
Although JVP is a relatively small position, there are still many issues and ideas to be discussed. I can’t promise raising $50,000, or more late starts, or more field trips, but I can promise you (this may sound a little cliché) that I will put forth my absolute best when it comes to Charity Week. If this means pulling all-nighters, skipping my lunches, or using every last muscle of my fatigued body to help, whatever it takes, I’ll do it. Give it to me; I’m up for the challenge!
Now, considering that there are 4 other people running for this spot, I’ve come up with “brill” iant ideas that will win your votes! As a girl with loads of business connections, I’ll try to get sponsors and donors to help contribute to the money raised during Charity Week. And with your vote, I’ll even try to get NT on TV! TV coverage will unquestionably spark up some new supporters (especially with next year being the last year here in this building). In addition to that, I’ll work to see if articles can be written about NT’s Charity Week in popular newspapers! Not to mention, help out the Senior VP with his/her ideas! And my goal is to raise at least $40,000 (though I can’t exactly promise that). Well, as quoted by Nelson Mandela himself, “We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right!”
And if you must know a little more about me, here it is. In school, I was active on 3 teams (field hockey, ice hockey, and soccer). Plus, I participated in 5 clubs (cauta, cooking, crafts, outers and archery). Outside of school, I play rep ice hockey, train provincial taekwondo, teach kids taekwondo and volunteer at 2 senior homes. As well as assist the Class Reps during Charity Week. Though these extra-curriculars may not seem all relevant, I have gained valuable leadership skills while participating in these activities.
Anyways, enough about me! I honestly hope you think twice before you cast your vote for the wrong person. It is not wise to vote a candidate based on their popularity or movie-star good looks. Choose the candidate who you, not your friends, but you believe will show the most hard work, creativity, dedication, initiative, and ambition as JVP. So please, reconsider my plans before you vote for any other candidate! Now, before I go hiding in my closet, just remember this: Don’t be ridiculous, vote for Phyllis! Thank you!

I am not getting the closet thing but maybe they will. I liked the speech. It was funny, genuine, to the point and you did a good job. I am not sure I would talk about how those people Geoff, savannah, etc made the position intimidating though. I might leave names out and just restructure it saying that I was intimidated but I pursued it anyway. I like that you will give it your all and showed them some ideas in the speech. Good luck!

Stiff gaits from my 12 year old QH mare.?

Bailey has been very stiff lately, riding and while she’s just running out in the pasture. She has excellent conformation as far as I can tell (but, I’m obviously not an expert). I don’t know if she’s in pain, or if she just needs a lot of cross training to stretch and build up the right muscles. Here is a link to her pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/im+obviously+dreamin. She has great bloodlines, not that it has anything to do with my question

Obviously lots of cutting and racing in her blood, explaining why she’s so fast, but lately she’s been so jumpy and stiff. I’ve barrel raced her on and off, and done very well, but I want to get away from that because I ride hunt seat for the OSU equestrian team, and Dressage is my passion. I know some people say a horse like this can’t do english, and especially dressage, but she was trained in english at Findlay and used to have a lovely headset and collection. All of that is gone, now! I had to take a year off for an unrelated neck injury, and cannot ride now until spring due to more PT. Since then, she’s been a different horse. Actually, it got worse after she developed an abscess in one hoof, although that healed quickly last summer. I know this requires a lot of patience, and patience I have, but I need to know the best way to help her. I would like to try some of the Clinton Anderson-style training with her, but can’t afford to spend a lot of money

Waiting to have the vet out to watch her, but I would love to start working with her now! I did ride last weekend, even though I’m not supposed to. I rode bareback with just a rope halter (I’ve only ridden bareback once or twice on her and never without a bit) and she enjoyed it very much. I have developed relatively quiet hands, and a very quiet seat to which she is responsive. She behaved very well considering I haven’t been on since November, but was still stiff.

So, just something I need to work out with hours in the saddle, or perhaps something more? I’ll include a link to some photos, and hope to get a video of her on the lunge line this weekend and may repost with that link. Also happy to add any more info. Thanks so much!

Also, what do you feel is the best system for asking a horse to round her back?
Oops, here’s the photo link!

Vince DeAngelo answers:

It’s possible that she’s lost her shape through lack of work while you’ve been unable to ride. When you can start working her again and her muscles tone up it will come back.

At 12 she’s a little bit young for arthritis but if you think that’s the problem a little sunflower, olive or rape seed oil in her feed might help or one of the many nutritional supplements for joint problems. The vet will advise you on this. If she’s in pain he may prescribe a short course of bute or another anti-inflammatory medicine. However, don’t give her any “over the counter”/drugstore medicines before she sees the vet as these may mask the problem and make it difficult for the him/her to make a diagnosis. Don’t panic though, it’s probable that the stiffness could just be could be lack of exercise.

I was amused by your comment that “a horse like this” can’t “do English”. I wish I had a pound or a dollar for every horse I’ve known who could do something it shouldn’t have been able to do, including a shire that was a phenomenal show jumper!

As far as getting her to “round her back” do you mean bringing her into a shape? I’m afraid that it’s down to schooling, schooling, schooling (ie training). What you want is to get her to tuck her behind in which in turn will make her round her back and bring in her head. Don’t be tempted into using one of the many quick fix gadgets which force the horse’s head in and the neck bent without reference to the back end. Not good at describing this – I hope it makes sense!

The use of organic bodybuilding supplements is on the rise. The all natural approach to bodybuilding is gaining appeal among millions of athletes today. In a sport that has become overshadowed by muscle giants who were created through the excessive use of steroids, natural bodybuilders are beginning to gain much deserved recognition. That leaves bodybuilding athletes with a question to answer – why choose to use organic and natural bodybuilding supplements over steroids?

Before discussing the benefits that organic bodybuilding supplements can have on a bodybuilding workout program, let’s look at the costs of using steroids. The first and most important concern about the use of steroids is that it is dangerous. Steroids have lasting effects on the organs that can leave a user with health problems for the rest of their lives. Steroid abuse can cause damage to the heart, liver and kidneys. It can also stunt growth, increase mood swings, cause sleep disorders and cause infertility.

There are also aesthetic issues that arise from the use of steroids, which include testicular shrinkage, breast development in men, breast shrinkage in women, acne and hair loss. These are just a few of the many physical side effects that can result from using steroids. Additionally, steroid use is unfair and unnatural. It is an unhealthy practice that has taken over a sport that is supposed to be anchored in health and fitness.

Now, let’s take a look at the benefits that are associated with organic bodybuilding supplements. First of all, it is important to understand that supplements are intended to compliment a bodybuilding nutrition plan. They should never be used instead of whole foods. That being said, it isn’t necessary to take bodybuilding supplements at all to achieve a great physique. However, organic bodybuilding supplements will give bodybuilders a slight edge because they allow the athlete to consume large amounts of concentrated nutrients in forms that are easy for the body to digest.

Protein supplements in particular can be highly beneficial to a bodybuilding nutrition plan because protein is a building block of muscle. Additionally, it has to be consumed is very large quantities to support the muscle repair that occurs after an intense bodybuilding workout. If an athlete was to try and consume their daily protein requirement through whole foods alone, they would find themselves eating all day long.

Additional organic bodybuilding supplements can assist in protein synthesis within the muscles; prevent the body from metabolizing muscle to fuel bodybuilding exercises; aid in rapid recovery after grueling bodybuilding workouts and help protect the joints from overuse injuries. As with anything, if organic bodybuilding supplements are abused, they may cause more harm than good in your long-term bodybuilding workout plan. If they are used correctly, they will go a long way to helping you have a healthy and successful bodybuilding career.

There are a countless number of ab workouts advertised on television and on the internet everyday that claim to be the most effective to develop toned, sexy abs. Well, they can’t all be the most effective, can they? The answer is that there are a huge number of ab workouts that will build abdominal strength and tone the abdominal muscles; however, none of them will give you a six-pack on their own. The true secret to developing the frequently sought after, yet infrequently obtained, six-pack is diet and cardiovascular training. The actual ab workout is just a tiny piece of the whole puzzle.

In order to achieve a chiseled mid-section, you have to follow a pretty strict bodybuilding nutrition plan. This plan will include lean sources of protein, moderate complex carbohydrates, low amounts of healthy fat and a lot of water. You should also eat six small meals per day spaced out every three to four hours. This will keep your metabolism working efficiently. The truth is that most people already have great abs – theyre just hiding under layers of fat. Following a bodybuilding nutrition plan and staying away from simple sugars and processed foods will help you shed some of that fat to display your abs.

The second component to getting that sexy six-pack is cardiovascular training. So many people are dedicated to their ab workouts, doing them day in and day out, and never seeing results. Some even follow a clean weight gain diet and still don’t get results. The missing ingredient – cardiovascular training. Doing 30 minutes of moderate cardio training a day will go a long way in uncovering your buried abs. Ensure that you don’t use too much intensity in your cardio sessions, as you may transition from aerobic to anaerobic exercise, which requires less oxygen and is less efficient at burning fat. You always want your cardio sessions to be aerobic in order to burn the most fat. Find aerobic activities that you enjoy and keep variety in your cardiovascular training plan. You will find, after a couple of weeks, that you are actually looking forward to your cardio sessions and you will be amazed at how quickly the fat melts away.

Finally, the last secret to obtaining a tiny waist is the actual ab workout. As I mentioned above, there are a lot of very effective ab workouts that will produce results if done in conjunction with diet and cardio. Just a few of the more effective bodybuilding exercises that target the abdominal muscles include; all variations of hanging leg raises, cable crunches, double crunches on the floor, crunches on the stability ball and plank holds. All of these exercises can be done to the front, which will target the front of the abs or to the side, which will target the obliques. All should be done slowly and you should always exhale on the contraction to add intensity to the exercise. Ab workouts can be done everyday, as the abdominals recover very quickly from strenuous exercise.

So, there you have it – the ab workout that really works is actually a whole lot more than just a workout. However, if you do follow the bodybuilding nutrition plan, stay faithful to a cardio schedule and do your ab workouts at least three times a week you will be amazed at how quickly your own six-pack begins to emerge. The effort is well worth it!

Muscle Building Secrets Proves You Can Gain More Lean Muscle Mass And Dramatically Increase Your Health In Just 7 Minutes a Day… And He Guarantees It…

You want more muscle, less fat and better health in less time. Everybody does. Hundreds of BS artists and con men have suckered smart people like you and me into buying all kinds of pills and potions to give it to us. It has all been a fantasy until now…

The creator of Muscle Building Secrets has done years of research to discover how to get the body and shape you want in as little as 7 minutes per day…

He exposes all the untruths about the muscle building industries and the companies who prey on people feeding them lies so they will buy their products…

Jon’s book will show you how to “skip the gym” and build a lean and sexy body in the shortest amount of time possible, while also leading a satisfying and healthy lifestyle…

His course consists of a comprehensive ebook manual and 7 videos to show you exactly what you need to do to build your own rock hard body in no time flat…

Here’s what you get:

The 7 Minute Muscle Training System e-Book

These 7 Videos:

All about 7 minute muscle

An amazing chest in minutes

A scultped back in minutes

Sexy shoulders in minutes

Hot legs in minutes

Great arms in minutes

Best butt and legs in minutes

Here’s an unsolicited testimonial from Jon’s site:

“I dropped 8% bodyfat in 8 weeks!”

What can I say, other than “7MM is one of the best programs I’ve ever used!” In the past 8 weeks I’ve only dropped a mere 5-6 lbs of overall weight, but a whopping 8% bodyfat! Thanks to the combination of Jon’s “Every Other Day Diet” and 7MM, I’ve gone from a size 33 to a 27 jean in that same time span!

Of course, 7MM isn’t an easy “walk-in-the-park” type program. It’s tough, challenging, but so much fun! Our family and friends are now paying attention, wanting to know the recipe of our success (that is, until they hear it’s not just popping a pill and keep eating junk while sitting on the couch). Do I recommend 7 Minute Muscle? A nice, loud YES to that!

Sarah Wolk

At just $77, this course is a bargain considering all the time and money you’ll save not having to go to the gym!

Like any other workout routine, Muscle Building Secrets isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely worth the time to check it out for yourself.

This workout routine is based on just 3 “short burst” workouts per week.
Craig Ballantyne, a fitness expert who has been featured in Men’s Health and Men’s Fitness magazines says that long boring cardio routines is not the fastest or easiest way to lose body fat.

In fact, according to Craig, you can workout just 3 times per week with 6 easy exercises for a total of only 45 minutes each and lose more body fat that with long cardio workout routines.

Here’s one of Craig’s workouts we discovered while watching some YouTube videos:

1. wide squat (hands in air)- 15 reps

2. basic push up- 15 reps

3. basic lunge w/pause- 12 reps each leg

4. decline push ups- 15 reps

5. jumping jacks- 60 reps

6. mountain climbers- 12 each leg

Do all exercises without resting between exercises

Rest 1 minute after all exercises are completed

Repeat 3 times

We had a few members of our staff put this workout to the test for 3 weeks without changing their eating habits or daily activities and the results were amazing. All together it was a total weight loss of 26 pounds and 18 inches of body fat burned. Considering the short amount of time it takes to do this workout, the results were incredible.

So you may be wondering why you should try out Craig’s system if we just told you the secret right? WRONG! This is just a very small part of the Turbulence Training routine. He has several different levels of workouts and methods to keep losing even more weight and body fat as time goes on.

In fact, if you follow the workouts as they progress over time, you’ll have the body you have always dreamed about and the short workouts will fit into anyone’s schedule.

Craig has tons of testimonials on his site praising his workout routines, which is just testament to the effectiveness and the ease of the exercises. You can order the basic edition for $39.95 or the deluxe edition for just $97 which comes with 5 additional bonuses.

All in all this is one of the best workout routines in existence and it get’s our highest rating of 5 stars.
